John B. Nelson Jr. was born in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in Connecticut. He is an actor, writer and producer. He has also trained in the martial arts his entire adult life and is an accomplished stunt and fight choreographer.

Acting

John's credits include Spike Lee's feature film Inside Man staring Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster, and Clive Owen. He has appeared in the History Channel's Russia: Engineering an Empire, as Mack in Fight Night, a feature length film about the shady world of underground fighting and online gambling, and as a cop in the award winning short comedy Solidarity.

Writing and Producing

John has written and produced multiple projects including Rip Off, a comedy TV pilot, and the award winning independent film Between Two Evils, both of which he performed in as well.
